Itinerary

Below is an example of what you might expect during a full-day's rafting trip with Otter Rafting Adventures!

Please keep in mind that this is just a sample, and as such, your actual itinerary may vary.

9:00 a.m.

• Arrive at our new building in Sundre, located on the west end of town
• Check in and finalize bill.
• Enjoy a hot cup of coffee and browse through our souvenir shop
• Wetsuit selection, get changed in our warm indoor facilities

9:45 a.m.

• Shuttle bus leaves for the selected portion of the river

10:45 a.m.

• Arrival at put-in point
• Guides prepare equipment for river trip
• River safety and paddling instruction is given
• Final check before pushing off
• Raft down to lunch site

1:15 p.m.

• Riverside lunch ready
• hot soups, chili or stews
• salads
• sandwiches, variety of cold meats
• desserts
• hot and cold drinks
• Raft for the afternoon

4:30 p.m.

• Board The Bus for our return to base camp in Sundre

5:00 p.m.

• Change into dry clothes and freshen up
• Pick up a souvenir
• Celebrate and say goodbye
